Literally carried my average all year! <3
Best APUSH review book ever !!! The first half of the yr, i felt as though the textbook my teacher gave us was too biased and wordy. This textbook is absolutely incredible - concise but thorough enough to properly explain very complex subjects very simply. Once I started reviewing for my weekly tests w this book, my grades skyrocketed. Before the AP test, I reread the entire book, outlining each chapter and using the practice questions offered in the back of the book to check my knowledge. I also really appreciated the vocab in the front of the book. Overall extremely helpful and very well written. Thank you so much!
Very small AP US History book.
I like how small the book was. It could fit a lot better in my backpack than my other AP books. It has a lot of information, but I didn't really like the layout of how the book was made. But overall the book was a lot better than most. But it doesn't go over a lot of famous people and there isn't as much information as in the AP Princeton ones.
Useful for my teen's review/prep for the AP exam
In addition to having an excellent teacher, this is a decent reference book for my teen. Fortunately (in addition) he has better memory than I did at his age (though you'd never guess it by the way that he forgets what he needs to do around the house and loses his gear (swimming goggles, coat, cap, ....) outside.
Very helpful
Really good quality and is not see through on the back pages after high lighting. Helped me pass my AP test, has compact definitions and summary of every important historical context that will be on both the ap test and most history teachers tests.
Customer Service. No good.
The book is good I enjoy it. However, their customer service not so good I’ve emailed them about my access code since I’ve accidents ripped off a piece of the access code to access online practice exams (another reason why I purchased this book) and they have not answered my emails :/ I’ve emailed them twice, no reply. I have my test in 2 days now and I can’t access the practices on there. very upset.
